I think this business is in it's beginning stages but the potential is there, starting with the enthusiasm shown by the manager, who's knowledge and passion for the fish in her care is engaging. We were guided by the manager who shared her extensive knowledge of all the fish and explained how the aquarium is set up and will continue to grow. We learnt about how the fish are bred, this is all done onsite. A lot of effort as been made in most tanks to make them look interesting. I guess the next stage would be to have some written signs/details to accompany each tank, although during our visit we didn't need that as we were guided most of the time we were there. At this stage, the highlights were the Port Jackson sharks, which she tempts with tidbits of fish so the come to the surface for easy viewing. Also it was great to learn about the seahorses which you can see in all stages of their lifecycle, even the teeny tiny ones. Don't miss the crayfish and the video display of how it changes it's exo-skeleton!! Amazing.” Family Ticket $35 (extra $4 each to feed the fish) Robe Customs House Museum The displays in the museum tell the stories of gold fever and the Chinese migrants as well as the many shipwrecks off the coast and general everyday life for the early settlers of the period.
