YOUTH MINISTRYLife 2016: Attention all Parents of students going into eight grade through
current seniors. If your child is in this grade grouping, they are eligible to go to
Life Investment Conference in Kansas City. Every three years our denomination
has an event that you do not want to miss. On Wednesday Night, Aug. 26th from
7 PM to 8 PM in the Fellowship Hall, we will be having an informational meeting
about this event. Please make every effort to be there. I always say, if you can
only send your child to one event during their time in school, this is the one you
want to send them to.

Alliance Veterans Monthly Meeting: Monday, August, 17th at 7:00 PM in
Fellowship Hall. We are a ministry of veterans ministering to veterans. All

Veteran Shirts: If you ordered a Veteran shirt, you can pick it up today in the
Library/Conference Room after every morning service.
“Lord Teach Me To Study The Bible in 28 Days”: is a new small group for
anyone who would like to learn to study the Bible inductively. This study will bring
a more personal understanding of God and His Word. This small group will meet
for four Sunday evenings starting August 30th at 6:00 PM in Room 114. For more

Ladies Small Group: Starting on Tuesday, Sept. 15th at 7:00 PM in Room 114.
This six week course is entitled “Seamless: Understanding the Bible as One
Complete Story”. There is a seamless thread woven through every story in the
Bible – a thread that connects it’s people, places and promises in a whole new
way. Teachers: Colleen Marunich and Cindy Lawrence. Please sign up in the
Lobby.
Parents of Children Dealing With Addictions: We are exploring the
possibilities of offering a small group for parents who have children with
addictions. Due to reasons of confidentiality, we will not have a sign-up sheet;
however, please email the church office and let us know of your interest. For

Baptism Service: Our Baptism service is today at 6:00 PM. The service will be
followed by a dessert fellowship. If you would like to volunteer to bring a dessert
for that evening, please sign-up in the Lobby. For more info, see Joanne Haines.
Bibles For Sturgis: On Wednesday, July 29th at 7:00 PM, in the Fellowship Hall,
we will be getting Bibles ready for distribution. If you are able to help for an hour it
would be greatly appreciated. For further info see Pastor Dan.
Alliance Veterans Ministries: will be hosting “Stockings for the Military” on
Thursday, Aug. 13th at MAC from 9 AM to 9 PM. Sponsored by the American
Sewing Guild and Military Connections, this event provides stockings for our
military personnel serving overseas. If you can sew and are able to help, e-mail
Maire Machens at machensmm@aol.com. Volunteers must be age 12 and older
and do not need to stay all day. Also, veterans are needed to help set-up and
assist throughout the day. Veterans’ sign-up sheet is on the I.C. Box table in the

Faith Night With Pittsburgh Pirates: Thursday, August 20th at 7:05 PM against
the Giants. This will be a great time with family and friends. After the game, fans
can hear from coaches and players about their faith. Tickets are $22 for outfield
reserved seats. (make checks payable to MAC) We have 30 seats reserved; so
sign up today! There is a sign-up sheet on the table by the I.C. Boxes. Sponsored

Register for VBS: August 2nd - 7th, 6:15 PM - 8:40 PM for children age 3
to entering 6th Grade. Visit the MAC website to register your child for VBS
(find VBS under the Children Tab). Register ONLINE. Forms are also
available on glass case in Lobby. Take a couple and invite your friends,
neighbors, grandchildren.
