Dear JA supporter, Do you know a young person who is innovative? Junior Achievement (JA) in Brown County is embarking on a new venture to help youth become real-world entrepreneurs. We need your assistance to identify those young people who have the creativity and ambition to change their life and possibly the world! JA in Brown County is offering a week long "Be an Entrepreneur" resident camp for students (current 6th-11th graders). In partnership with Associated Bank and the Greater Green Bay YMCA, JA will host this event at Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya from June 14-19, 2015. Because of magnificent community support, this camp will be offered to 30 area students at no cost. Students will spend the week learning from real world business leaders everything they need to know to start their own business. On the final day of camp, students will present their product/service to business leaders in a "shark tank" scenario. Those business leaders will advise, challenge and empower the students to create their own business. Camp will also consist of outdoor adventure. Everyday the students will choose to participate in the outdoor activities of their choice which will integrate the students into the entire camp experience. I know that attending camp as a child changed my life! Would you please help JA impact the lives of local young people by nominating a young person you feel will benefit from this camp? Please submit the enclosed nomination form including each students' essay/signed form in the enclosed envelope no later than April 30. Students will be notified of their participation in the beginning of May. Thank you in advance for helping us change the lives of local young people! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
