CAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE UK
MBA PROGRAMMES; you have option of earning this degree as MBA or as AMBA
These Programmes are designed to develop the advanced business management and administration
skills essential for senior level managerial positions. They cover key business and management
subjects including marketing, business, finance and human resource in a practical, enjoyable manner; they
then cover high-level subjects including corporate strategy and planning, and chosen specialisation
subjects, and require the submission of a Project. The Programmes are intended to accelerate high level
career development, and endow the holder with great personal confidence, belief and ability.
CIC’s special MBA Programme is structured to take account of each applicant’s present level of existing
qualifications and work experience. Therefore, although many people will need to proceed through all three
‘Study Years’, other people who are considered by CIC to be suitably qualified or experienced, may
gain study exemptions from one or more Core Subjects in a ‘Study Year’.
The deion ‘Study Year’ is used as a guide only. The flexible distance-learning study method of CIC’s
AMBA Programme allows each individual to proceed and progress at his or her OWN pace. Some people
might complete a ‘Study Year’ in less than a 12-month (one year) period; others might need to take
longer. The average time taken to complete CIC’s full MBA Programme is 15 to 24 months - with shorter
periods when Study Exemption is granted - but we allow student to take, if necessary, up to 36 months.
Notes:
1. A Member’s Study and Training Period is calculated from the date on which that Member is actually
enrolled or registered by the College for a Course, Program or Programme, and will be stated on the
‘Confirmation of Membership’ documentation issued by the College and sent to the Member to retain.
2. Members who - for personal reasons - find they need to take longer than normal, and study beyond the
end of the normal maximum Study and Training Period allowed, may be permitted by the College to
extend the Study and Training Period. A modest ‘Extension Charge’ (currently of £100 or US$160 or
Euros 150) is made for any period up to 12 months after the end of the normal Study and Training
Period. The Extension Charge should be paid to the College BEFORE the end of the normal Study and
Training Period.
