Access For All Project – Mystery Shopping National Tourist Board VisitEngland is leading an ‘Access for All’ project with Visit Kent, Visit Birmingham, Visit Lincoln, Visit Northumberland, Visit Peak District and Derbyshire, Experience Nottinghamshire and VisitBrighton. The project is developing and promoting these destinations for disabled visitors and others with access needs. A key objective of the project is to increase opportunities for people with access needs to take a short break. A number of tourism businesses such as hotels and visitor attractions are currently going through an Access for All programme developed by VisitEngland to ensure they’re delivering the highest standard of access for visitors. Businesses have already had an accessibility audit by a professional tourism accessibility advisor and now we need your help… We are looking for volunteers with accessibility needs to take part in a mystery shopping exercise. Mystery shoppers will play a vital role in helping to improve accessibility for both disabled visitors and local people. What’s involved? If selected, you will visit a venue as a regular visitor and then feedback on how you found the experience and accessibility.
