Títol: Interaction of nanomagnetic particles with cells. Director: M. Antònia Busquets Viñas, Departament de Fisicoquímica, Facultat de Farmàcia, mabusquetsvinas@ub.edu, Theranostic nanoparticles are interesting nanostructures because of their potential application in both therapy and diagnosis. Among these particles, magnetoliposomes (MLs) have gained a big interest recently due also to their lack of toxicity and biodegradability. However, they cannot reach their target tissue without first passing through blood. Therefore, the study of the influence of blood cell and blood protein interaction on MLs biodistribution is of capital importance. The main objectives of the present work consist on the optimization of the preparation of MLs, the study of their interaction in several media, tissue biodistribution and uptake by different cells. The research proposed will require the use of several techniques as fluorescence microscopy, flow citometry and magnetic resonance imaging among others. El treball té finançament (projecte MAT).
