Committee: General Assembly Topic: State-Sponsored Terrorism Country: Ireland Delegate: Cristobal Garza School: ASFM Terrorism is a huge amount of in-necessary violence, terrorism is done by a certain person, or a group. International terrorism may occur in any country to any citizen. Terrorist attacks happen for the reason of bombing, hijacking, and murdering. Majority of the terrorism occurs in the Middle East. Terrorists attacks are to random victims for reasons terrorists have, state sponsored terrorism is when a countries governments pay terrorists, or a terrorist to go kill people at whichever country. Extremists are people who do an excessive amount of damage to other countries; there are extremists all over the world. The extremists groups in the Middle East are Hamas, Al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, Taliban, and ISIS. False Flag is a cruel, and stupid way to hurt your own country, false flag happens when one country’s government pays terrorists, or a terrorist to attack their own country, and terrorists win money for doing that. If we continue to let terrorism happen, terrorists will do more damage to the world, and more attacks to different variables of countries, and terrorism will take over the world. Terrorist groups, and terrorists need to start realizing that they can make money in a more efficient way without harming the world, than bombing, hijacking, and murdering people. Terrorists should speak their problems on political systems, instead of using terrorist actions to defend their points on political systems. The UN created in 1373 a CounterTerrorism Committee after knowing it was important for someone to lead the war on terrorism, the Counter-Terrorism Committee created 700 reports on their participation on Counter-Terrorist activities, these operations were leaded by the Counter-Terrorism Implementation Task Force. That was accepted in 2005 to help the Counter-Terrorism Committee in the war. Ireland will like to highly achieve on taking all the terrorism away from the Middle East, and if it is needed the world too, no more destructions, and corruption happening. Ireland is now working with the UN to make this world in which we live in, full of peace, and harmony. Ireland has been accused of directing acts of terrorism beneath an arguable law. Garda is a private security company located in Canada, and they do security services, and investigations all over the world. The Garda headquarters have ordered an investigation on Al-Qaeda’s supporters in Ireland. Ireland has an alliance with the United Kingdom, because both countries want to defeat, and take down terrorism. Ireland is absolutely against terrorism. Ireland believes that terrorism is just simply damaging, and hurting the world. Ireland has experienced many issues with terrorism, once a man of Northern Ireland was with Syria’s terrorism who fought the Islamic state group. Ireland has had a lot of terrorist attacks between protestants, and Catholics, Ireland also fought against the United states, for the reason of religious controversies, so the United States decided to encourage peace in Ireland, this all happened in 2001. Ireland just wishes more countries reunite together to fight against terrorism, so it can end as soon as possible. Ireland implemented an anti-terrorism law with the United Kingdom, to stop terrorism and create a more peaceful society. Ireland is suggesting other countries to prevent terrorism by doing a law, or forming a solution with the UN, so the violence of terrorism is gone. To create a treaty that all countries in the world should sign it. Ireland wants to take off terrorism from the world, because it is not benefiting the world in any way. My delegation Ireland is trying to convince each delegation of the world to reunite with us by signing a treaty, all the countries will have 2 years to sign this treaty, if they do not sign the treaty in time each country will have to pay for every terrorism damage that they have done. This treaty will surely prevent terrorism forever. "Terrorism." Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia (2014): 1p. 1. Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia. Web. 26 Jan. 2015. Lennon, Brian.
