Grade 10 Depth Study Assignment 1. Poster 2. Oral presentation 3. Digital project Instructions: This is your major term continuous assessment assignment. It will count 25 % of your final mark. You need to ensure that it is well-researched and demonstrate your skills of interpretation and analysis. You can work in pairs or alone. Hand it in with evidence of both of your work completed 1. Poster You must complete an A2 poster on your assigned topic. It must include: At least two sources (one cartoon and one written source) WITH an analysis of the message A description of key points of content At least one image COLOUR! A standard planning table that would be used to answer an 8 mark “to what extent/how far” question. An oral presentation You will have to do an oral presentation which accompanies your poster (same topic as your poster): Is no longer than 8 minutes long Is accompanied by visuals included a powerpoint presentation Must include analytical (7 & 8 mark questions) for a class discussion 3. A digital project You have to complete a digital project. It must comprise of: A video presentation (you may use your cellphones, a camera/video camera for this) If you are working in pairs, both of you need to appear on the video It should be creative! Think of different ways to teach your fellow pupils about your topic. You can use drawings, interviews, dances, role play etc. It has to be historical. You will be assessed on how you present the material, the depth of your content knowledge and the degree of evaluative and interpretive skills present in your video.
