The Heart of France
Kicking off the 2015 Dream Tours is a discovery tour through the heart of
France. Janette Emerich and Uwe Hamm take visitors along on a multifaceted motorhome tour to tickle all the senses, during which they manage to
convey the savoir vivre of our neighbouring country with their expressive
images and stories. The tour begins in Alsace and travels to the Loire Valley
via Dijon. Romantic castles and fortresses decorate the riverbank like
diamonds; the most impressive of them are explored in detail. A multifaceted excursion through tufa cellars, mystical limestone caves and
vineyards displays the most diverse facets of this popular holiday destination.
On the Atlantic coast, time seems to have stood still in the idyllic La Rochelle
with its dreamy villages. The highest shifting sand dune in Europe, near
Arcachon, is every bit as impressive as the historical cities Bordeaux, Nantes
and Vichy, or the medieval towns of Beynac, Rocamadour and Salers. The
tour culminates with the wondrous landscape of Auvergne with its bizarre
volcanic cones.
The Baltic States and St. Petersburg
Green light for all travel buffs is the motto for this magnificent dream tour
through the Baltic States with Konstantin Abert. Spacious, reasonably priced
campsites, wild coasts and beaches, dense forests and plenty of unspoiled
nature, breathtaking and inexpensive cities – the Baltic States are a dream
come true for caravanners. The tour continues by way of the directly
neighbouring city of the tsars, St. Petersburg. The “Venice of the North” is on
UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage list and is considered to be one of the
most beautiful and magical cities in all of Northern Europe.
Overwintering in Oman
What’s the best way for people that suffer from wanderlust to survive the
next winter? Kostya Abert presents a perfect recipe at the Dream Tour
Cinema! Take one motorhome and travel in it to Oman. There you overwinter
in pleasant 25-degree weather on white sand beaches while enjoying Omani
hospitality and Asian cuisine. You marvel at ancient cultures, fortresses and
breathtaking mountain and desert landscapes. The tour begins in Turkey,
and continues through Persia and futuristic Dubai to reach a true
caravanning paradise – the largely unexploited Oman. Free ocean-side
camping, stars whispering between enormous sand dunes, and the peaks of
the Hajjar Mountains – there aren’t many better ways to get away from it all.
The route along the ancient Incense Road guarantees a high level of
adventure.
Canada and Alaska
Endless open spaces, untouched nature, and a bit of wilderness – visitors
can expect this and more during this dream tour through the northern edge of
the American continent with Janette Emerich and Uwe Hamm. The
adventure begins in the lively metropolis of Vancouver, and continues from
there to Vancouver Island via the ferry. The marvel of the Rocky Mountains
comes to life on the Icefields Parkway. Snow-covered mountains, glaciers
and turquoise-coloured lakes border what has to be the most beautiful scenic
road in Canada. Bathing in the hot thermal springs in the middle of a forest,
hiking at Emerald Lake or canoeing on picturesque Lake Louise guarantee
2
high adventure. In Whitehorse on the colossal Yukon River, the pioneer spirit
of former adventurers and gold diggers is still palpable. From there it is a
mere stone’s throw to the wilderness of Alaska. One of the highlights of this
unique and spectacular landscape is certainly Mount McKinley in Denali
National Park.
The Western USA
Janette Emerich and Uwe Hamm have a caravan tour of superlatives in the
American Wild West up their sleeve, which is comprised of one highlight after
another. The wild and romantic coastal route – Highway 1, the famous
Panamericana – takes us from Los Angeles to the Golden Gate Bridge in
San Francisco. Bizarre rock formations stimulate the fantasy in Bryce
Canyon National Park, giving us a foretaste of the breathtaking Grand
Canyon and indescribable sunsets in Monument Valley. Hiking to Delicate
Arch in Arches National Park is definitely a highlight: the natural stone arch
shimmers in every imaginable shade of red in the light of the setting sun.
Probably the most beautiful part of the historic Route 66 awaits us between
Seligman and Oatman, where not only oldtimer fans get their money’s worth.
A visit to the crazy gamblers paradise, Las Vegas, stands as a stark contrast
to the Rocky Mountains. Visitors of the Dream Tour Cinema can experience
the magic of this colourful glitter world.
Best Of! Kostya: 30 Years of Motorhome Vacations
This promises to be a true gem for all Dream Tour Cinema fans. The
audience joins Kostya Abert for a spectacular trip through 30 years of
motorhome adventures on five continents. In this special show, the
caravanning pioneer shares the most exciting and humorous experiences
from 3 decades of caravan trips around the globe. Whether you are an
occasional caravanner or a bona fide adrenaline junky – this show has
something for everyone. In addition, Kostya Abert shows visitors which
destinations are currently “in”. The vivacious live moderator, along with the
numerous amusing human encounters, guarantee exciting entertainment
right up to the very last minute. Afterward, the travel expert will be available
to answer individual questions on specific destinations for motorhomes and
caravans.
