Using your notes and the organizer from class, write a paragraph that answers the following
questions: What is the central idea in Robert Frost’s poem, “Nothing Gold Can Stay,” and how
does he illustrate this idea?
Your paragraph should:
 have a strong opening sentence that answers the question and includes the title and
author of the poem
 have a closing sentence that sums up the content of your paragraph
 be typed, double-spaced, and have an MLA heading
 include two to three short quotations from the poem
 use at least two of the literary terms from the poem handout
