Please be aware of those around you and don’t take up more space than needed. ● This is a fitted show. ● Office hours are 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Please consult the posted schedule for check in times for both steers and heifers each day. ● If you have an animal related emergency, the large animal veterinarian we recommend locally is the Texas A&M University Large Animal Veterinary Clinic and can be contacted by calling (979) 845-3541. ● Jackpot showmanship will begin at 8 a.m. each morning in the arena. Senior division (15 years and up) will show in Ring C. Winners in each age division will receive 60% of the jackpot. Reserve winners in each age division will receive 40% of the jackpot. The Futurities will begin with Ring A at 9 a.m. ● Entry forms, waivers, and weight cards will be available on the table outside the cattle office. Please fill them out and have your payment ready when you enter the office. If you are showing a heifer, please have your registration papers ready as well. There will be a $10 per head per ring late fee for entering after July 13 th, 2015. ● Classes will be posted after check-in closes at 7 a.m. each morning approximately an hour before the show begins. You can find them outside the office on the wall. Show order will be in alphabetical order by breed within each division and is posted on the wall by the office. ● Awards will be given in rings A & B for steers and B & D for heifers only. For steers to enter ring B, you must first enter in ring A. For heifers, to enter ring B, you must first enter in ring A, and to show in ring D, you must enter in ring C. ● Buckles will not be given to winners in the ring. Winners will receive vouchers and will need to proceed to the cattle office where they will fill out thank you notes to their sponsors and then receive their buckles. ● Shavings must be bought from the BCEC for $8 per bag at the east side of the barn. RV Hookups will also be sold at this location.
