Abraham Lincoln once said:
“I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives. I like to see a
man so that his place will be proud of him.”
Research the places in which Abraham Lincoln was born, grew up, lived, died, and was
buried. Do you think that these places were proud of Lincoln? Support your answer by
using your research to find examples of the Lincoln legacy in Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois,
