La carte postale (postcard) Project Major Assessment Grade Due _____________________________________ You are going to create a postcard to send to someone! You can “send” it to a parent, a friend, Mlle Toselli, or anyone you’d like. The subject of your postcard is Qu’est-ce que tu as fait cet ete? (What did you do this summer?). Here is what you need: o A picture: You may draw a picture that matches your destination. If you do not consider yourself the best artist, you may print out a picture or use clip art. The important this is that your picture must match what your postcard is about. o Greeting: You need to begin your postcard with a greeting! The most common ones are ‘bonjour’, ‘cher’(m), chere (f) – they mean dear. o 5 regular verbs using avoir in the passé compose: Any regular –er, -ir, -re verb is fair game. You must use a minimum 1 each, the remaining 2 are up to you. o 5 verbs with IRREGULAR past participles using avoir: There are 19 that we studied. o 3 verbs that use etre in the passé composé: There are 14 of these. REMEMBER! These are the ones that must agree in number and gender with the subject. o Closing: You need to say something right before you sign your name. Any way to say goodbye will work. o Make it interesting: don’t be afraid to get creative! Remember a high level sentence always adds details! o Who + did what + where did they do it + when.
