Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be the software engineer responsible for the development and
maintenance of the Linux Board Support Package* (BSP) for ADI's embedded processors and
DSPs. The software includes Linux kernel, Linux buildroot distribution, Das u-boot and Linux
middle ware libraries. You are going to make sure the software aligns with ADI's strategy to go to
meet the requirements of the broad embedded market.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:





Follow the open source software development process and project management model.
Develop uboot and Linux kernel architecture code to support new ADI embedded processors.
Bring uboot and Linux up to serial console on the FPGA or early evaluation board.
Design driver functionalities and test methods. Develop driver code according to the low level
design. Port old driver to new processor or new evaluation board. Such as Ethernet, USB, PTP,
Flash, DMA, SD, etc.
Update old drivers to new driver framework in new kernel and uboot mainline version.
Investigate and fix bugs. Send arch patches to mainline for review. Fix all issues in review
feedbacks. Build good relationship with mainline maintainers.
Working with the testing engineers to ensure the product is thoroughly tested and meets
established release criteria

Linux kernel development experience

Analog Devices Shanghai has an opening for a Graduate Communications System Engineer. The
successful candidate will work closely with the senior transceiver application engineers to
develop, promote and support transceiver products for use in the communications infrastructure.
The role will require:
 The application of the theoretical knowledge into practical applications.

FAEs (Field Applications Engineers) at Analog Devices (ADI) are to developing technical
relationships to influence customers and focusing on monetizing ADI value and capabilities. It is

customer. In this role, you will establish trust-based relationships with customers and internally at
