What part of this story could really happen? You can tell this story is not real because Day 3 Reality & Fantasy Day 4 Reality & Fantasy Once upon a time, there was a swan that lived on Placid Pond. The swan always kept to itself and came out only at night. One night a young girl came to the pond to watch the stars. She slipped on a mosscovered rock and fell into a deep part of the pond. The swan dived into the water and swam underneath the girl. Using all its strength, the swan pulled the girl back to shore. “Thank you,” the girl gasped to the swan. The swan nodded and replied, “No need to thank me. My job is to watch over this pond at night.” With that, the swan slipped back into the water. Ever since, Placid Pond has been known as Swan Pond. Paola and Diego watched as their cows ran away. Out of the sky came a dark, twirling cloud. The cloud raced quickly over the hill, in the same direction as the cows. In seconds, the cloud was back. It twirled and landed in front of the two children. Then, Diego and Paola saw that it was not a cloud, but a famous cowboy named Pecos Bill. He has rounded up the cows with his lightning-fast rope.
