Mayor Bob Muckle Speaks at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Inauguration for the
Unveiling of New Manufacturing Facility in Louisville, Colorado
New Trelleborg Sealing Solutions manufacturing facility demonstrates operational excellence
Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, one of the world’s leading developers, manufacturers and
suppliers of seals and bearings, held an inauguration and ribbon cutting ceremony to
commemorate the unveiling of its prestigious new facility located in the Colorado Technology
Center in Louisville, Colorado, U.S. on December 12th. Mayor of Louisville Bob Muckle was one
of the speakers and participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony, along with several city council
members, customers, local businesses and senior Trelleborg management.

including our innovative aerospace industry and our focus on advanced industries," said Ken
Lund, executive director of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International
Trade. "Trelleborg is an exciting, innovative company and we are thankful that they will expand

Poised for growth, innovation and business expansion, Trelleborg Sealing Solutions will be
manufacturing its renowned engineered seals and bearing solutions for advanced applications
in aerospace, automotive, life sciences and oil & gas industries.

Tom Potosky, General Manager of the Trelleborg Sealing Solutions manufacturing facility in
Louisville, Colorado, says: "In fully leveraging the nearly 76,000 square feet of space, we were
very diligent in our use of Hoshin planning to develop the design and layout of our lean
manufacturing operation. We took a clean sheet approach to optimize flow and create a center
of manufacturing excellence.
This new facility is truly a showcase that demonstrates our
technical expertise and innovation in sealing solutions in addition to providing us room to
expand.”
Trelleborg Sealing Solutions has over 20 production facilities and more than 40 marketing
companies worldwide. In the U.S., the new facility will be a focal point within its network of
manufacturing sites, R&D centers and marketing companies. Participants attending the
inauguration and ribbon cutting ceremony will have the opportunity to tour the facility and
