DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

Train students from the 8th semester of the Licentiate in Conservation of
Cultural Heritage in generation, performance and assessment of integral
conservation, restoration and projects for research of pre-hispanic and
viceroyalty mural heritage, through a multidisciplinary exercise.

Develop the conservation profession through the multidisciplinary
knowledge and perfection of our own methods, techniques, materials used
and the knowledge of the constitutive material and techniques of the mural
heritage and their decaying process.

Coordinate Institutional/Academic Conservation Projects:
o Skull Shrine Conservation Project. Aztec Sacred Precinct of
Tenochtitlán, Historical Center of Mexico City. World Heritage by
UNESCO
o Stucco, stone and wall painting altarpiece and architectural finishing San Isidro Temple Conservation Project. XVIII century.

Maintain the information reservoir of facture techniques, constitutive
materials, decay and restoration materials of the Mural Conservation Area,
up dated, guarded and organized.

Maintain the material resources from the Mural Conservation Area
inventoried, in good conditions and set after the acquisition of new
technology for the conservation, restoration and research projects.

