eHe are Pre-qualified supplier under the Queensland Government’s User Choice 2010-2015 program administered
by their Department of Education and Training (eHe’s training ID is PS100478) for the Certificate IV in Training and
Assessment.
Upon further establishment Inclusive Training will in conjunction with eHe where possible utilise all available
government funding.

Level One
An initial exploration into suicide, providing an awareness about suicide, and suicide prevention. This
program encourages open discourse on suicide and suicide safety.
Alerts participants to signs that an individual such as a colleague, may be considering suicide. Designed to
stimulate participants to think and act differently when signs of potential suicide are evident.
3 - 4 hour duration – minimum 15, maximum 30 participants
Outcomes

Contribute to awareness of suicide as a serious challenge

Begin breaking free of the stigma of suicide which prevents
open discussion about the issue.

Appreciate steps that can be learned to assist in the
prevention of suicide.

Personally commit to suicide prevention.


Level Two
Learn to recognise when a person is at risk of suicide and respond to increase their immediate safety, link
them to advanced helping services and enhance the learner’s skill to help those at risk avoid suicide.
2 days duration – Minimum 10, maximum 20 participants
Outcomes

Reflect on how participant attitudes may affect their
intervention role.

Directly discuss suicide with an at risk person.

Construct a cooperative approach to intervention focused on
safe results.

Review immediate suicide risks and develop suitable safe
plans.

Identify and locate resources for a person at risk.

Commit to improving site and / or community resources.

Recognise that suicide prevention I broader than a band aid
and includes life promotion plus self-care for caregivers.
