MICHAEL TILMOUTH RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIPS 2016/17
Funds Available – £500 per year
The Michael Tilmouth Research Scholarship is open to new and continuing postgraduate
research students (MScR, MPhil and PhD) in Music at the University of Edinburgh
working in the field of Musicology.
One scholarship of £500 per year for full-time and part-time students, tenable for up to a
maximum of 3 years as per the prescribed period of study of the relevant programme (ie
1 year maximum for MScR, 2 years maximum for MPhil and 3 years maximum for PhD).
Continuing students may be made a pro-rata award for the prescribed period of study
remaining.
Applications, giving full details of proposed research, should be submitted to the ECA
Postgraduate Office by FRIDAY 4 MARCH 2016.
