Scientist Formulation and Analytics (MP0116) Molecular Partners AG is a thriving and steadily growing clinical stage biotech company located in Zurich, Switzerland. The development of a broad portfolio of therapeutic product candidates in oncology and ophthalmology based on our proprietary DARPin platform allowed a successful listing of the company on the SIX Swiss Exchange (MOLN). Next to our own proprietary pipeline of drug candidates we have entered into collaborations with international pharmaceutical companies, including Allergan and Janssen. To support our Formulation and Analytics group and to bring further DARPins from research to the clinical development stage, we are looking for a highly motivated individual with a PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or a related discipline to join Molecular Partners as Scientist Formulation and Analytics. You will be working in a team of scientists and engineers and will be involved in the establishment of new analytical methods, stability investigations, formulation development, and collaboration with contract manufacturing organizations. This challenging and diverse position will include the following tasks and responsibilities: Characterization of Molecular Partners’ DARPin molecules using a wide set of state of the art protein analytical techniques Independently design, run, analyze and document experiments Perform protein formulation development, stability tests and forced degradation studies Develop and validate new analytical methods Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, as required In addition you should further bring along: In-depth expertise in protein characterization (e.g. HPLC, electrophoresis) Experience in protein formulation development and/or sub-visible particle assessment is considered an asset Working knowledge of mass spectrometry Knowledge of the applicable regulatory framework (e.g. ICH guidelines) is of advantage Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and ability to respond quickly to upcoming challenges as well as a positive and proactive attitude Ability to write sound scientific reports or regulatory documents Proven ability to work on projects independently Fluency in German and English (oral and written) Strong interpersonal, communication and team-working skills The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and highly motivated international team.
