
Corey: ARLC Conference advisor on contracts ideas for sponsorship

Rich: Reapplication, every student will be accommodated there will be no general
lottery, guarantee of room much more thorough on Monday; allowing the development
of hilltops suite or town homes; not managed by NAU and private have them come and
talk to us


How can we improve bike safety on campus?
i. Taylor: pedway: past Wilson a lot of accidents; beams blocking pedway; clear
signage
ii. Reilly: pedway is broken ? confusing; the hill in south campus pedway and
walkway joined together
iii. Pine Ridge: hill by Gabaldon bikes speeding down the hill; pedestrians safety;
keep flow of traffic
iv. Gillenwater: lots of cracks and rocks; causing accidents with skateboards Wilson
and cowed, hump by Wilson needs to be fixed
v. McConnell: Lighting needs to be fixed entrance of McConnell going in to DuB
and parking lot next to the Dome and Gabaldon hill, needs to be fixed; more
obvious signs for bikers
vi. Taylor: point of clarification: contact call capital assets 3-4227
vii. Mountain View: UU too many people and bikes; bikers not paying attention;
library and pathway, too crowded go around?
viii. South Family: enforce dismounting bike, almost hit people
ix. Gabaldon: Bad rush hour 12:30 to 2 around all construction, bikers not following
signs, create trail for bikers , skateboarders and bikers different trail option?
x. McDonald: Peds: earplugs in so can’t tell them they are behind them… easier
solution for peds and bikers, bike lanes and ped way
xi. Reilly: Construction does not have spotters: need more people to help with that
could cause injuries, need more people to protect peds and biker
xii. Tinsley: move peds instead of bikers more bikers, avaoid nbiker collisions
xiii. Reilly: bike lane needs to be revamped, avoid a lot more collisions, divide peds
and bikes
xiv. Pine Ridge: bike safety day with NAU pd, need to enforce , bikers must stop for
stop signs or lights, raise more awareness
xv. South Family: division of the paths, wall to separate, cannot go into one another
xvi. Wilson: bikes need lights, have no way of seeing them
xvii. Mountain View: rides bikes on the new bus lane by sechrist,
xviii. McKay: bike cops, fining people on bike rules
xix. McConnell: committee, campus safety brainstorm ideas and input ideas
xx. RA Council: RHA program, do all the same programs in our hall
xxi. Taylor: enforce the rules around pedestrians as well as bikers, bike lockers and
bike lights

xxiii. Tinsley: surveillance cameras? Too many bike racks , all different distances,
would be very hard to do this, bike registration
xxiv. Reilly: give out Ulocks to bikers, rent or sell, or give out

xxvi. Campbell: middle plant area in UU, opened up congestion
