Garden Glory compost is a mixture of yard waste and biosolids and is sold by the cubic yard to backyard gardeners, landscapers, and
building contractors throughout the Olympic Peninsula. The City of Port Angeles constructed a co-composting facility in 1995 and made
additional improvements in 2003. In 2007 the city began selling 'Garden Glory Compost' to the public. Waste Connections Inc. operates
the facility under contract with the City and produces a 3,000 cubic yards of Class A compost annually.
