Occupations by the Numbers
Team NEO's latest Quarterly Economic Report explores workforce trends in Northeast Ohio and highlights occupations that are expected to grow over the next decade. Across all segments, the region expects to add nearly 123,000 jobs by 2025.
This represents a 6% increase in total employment, bringing the total workforce to 2.041 million people .
Occupations with the most job openings through 2025 include healthcare, manufacturing, and sales and administration occupations.

According to Forbes and Site Selection, Ohio is a great place for doing business. Each year, both wellrespected publications release their individual rankings, highlighting the best and worst states for doing business. This year, the Buckeye State came in at number 15 on Forbes' list (up 11 spots from
2014) and number seven on Site Selection's ranking. Ohio's high marks on these notable rankings illustrates the state's business friendly climate; a climate that makes it possible for companies to grow and thrive.
