Fall Fundraiser: Requires volunteering during the months of
September and October
(usually some type of sale - cookie dough, wrapping paper,
etc.)
Organize with Parent Group at September and October

Coordinate with Sales Person of chosen company regarding
start date, delivery date, etc.
Be on sight on delivery day to distribute items to students
Tally forms and make sure all monies have been collected –
hand over to Treasurer
Spirit Wear: Requires volunteering during the months of

Coordinate with Tammy Taylor to assist in ordering process

Make sure all monies are collected and handed over to
Treasurer
Staff Appreciation Month: Requires volunteering during the
months of January and February
Organize with Parent Group at January and February meetings
Distribute and collect forms to and from staff
Recruit volunteer parents to each staff member and
distribute forms to those individuals
Organize a breakfast to reveal the “Secret Parent” to each
staff member at the end of February
Staff Appreciation Lunches: Requires volunteering October
through May
Communicate the success and needs to Kim Nettuno, Parent
Group President, either via e-mail or designated meetings
above
Recruit volunteer parents to choose a month to provide
lunch for the staff – this could be either one parent
providing the entire meal or several providing portions for
the meal (ie salad, entrée, side dish, dessert)
Coordinate with Sally Birkelo the delivery date and time
for the meal
Send some type of thank you recognition to individuals who
participated (card, e-mail, etc.)
Staff Birthday Recognition: Requires volunteering all year
Communicate the success and needs to Kim Nettuno, Parent
Group President, either via e-mail or designated meetings

Gather from Sally Birkelo the birthdays of all staff
members
Contact “The Bean Machine” to gather $5.00 gift cards to be
distributed on the birthday
Deliver a note or card with the “drink card” to the staff
member’s mailbox in the school
Spring Fundraiser: Requires volunteering March through April or
May (depending when the fundraiser is held)
(usually an auction or the participation in some school
event providing dinner)
Organize with Parent Group at March, April and perhaps May
meetings
Recruit volunteers to assist in preparation
Coordinate with venue and/or leaders of the event to
organize
Other duties may arise
End of the year celebration: Requires volunteering May and June
Organize with Parent Group at May meeting
Communicate with LeeAnn and Sally as to their needs (ie
food items, servers, reward items, etc.)
Recruit volunteers to assist
Offices:
President:
Communicate with all committees above to ensure adequate
help is gathered via volunteers – aid when needed
Be actively involved in all Parent Group activities above
Prepare for and lead all Parent Group meetings
Communicate with LeeAnn, Principal, as to the success
and/or needs of the Parent Group
Communicate the needs of the staff and student body to the
Parent Group
Attend SAC meetings at Wilson School on designated dates
given by the Superintendent’s office
Report relative SAC meeting information to the Parent Group
Vice President:
Assist the President in his/her duties listed above
Be able to fill-in for the President in the event she/he
cannot perform his/her duties
Secretary:
Record items at Parent Group meetings to be communicated to
parents and staff
Communicate via e-mail to the staff and parents the items
covered in all meetings
Treasurer:
Tally all monies
Keep track of fundraiser monies and distribution thereof
Report to Parent Group financial gain/loss
