ACTION PLAN FOR STANDARD TWO – ASSESSMENT SYSTEM AND UNIT EVALUATION--REVIEW OF ASSESSMENTS TO ASSURE FAIRNESS, NON-BIAS, RELIABILITY AND VALIDITY Plan: Evaluate testing protocols and instruments by (1) having assessments and data reviewed by Buros Institute of Mental Measurement Lincoln NE, (2) having instruments reviewed by the CSC Institutional Review Board and (3) using the processes of American Psychology Association with regard to (a) standards for educational and psychological testing, (b) code of fair testing practices in education, and (c) guidelines for language bias. Participants: Educational psychology faculty, department chair, education unit members. Activity: Have the instruments and protocols examined using the American Psychology Association standard guidelines.
