The Rivers flowing from the Appalachian Mountains to the Atlantic Ocean have inspired artists for centuries. Rivers to the Sea is a thematic exhibition based on art inspired by the progression of water from mountain streams through the piedmont to the low country of our Atlantic beaches. We invite artists to submit works that celebrate the rushing of water over rocks, bubbling toward the flat water of the midlands and through the marshes of the low country. All media welcome; small to large-scale installations, indoor and outdoor works accepted. The exhibition will be held at The Art Center of Clemson’s Gallery and Sculpture Garden 212 Butler Street, Clemson, SC. “In rivers, the water that you touch is the last of what has passed and the first of that which comes; so with present time.” Leonardo da Vinci Entry Form for Rivers to the Sea, The ARTS Center of Clemson Spring Exhibit, 2015 Artist________________________ Phone__________________Email_______________ Title #1__________________________________________ Medium____________________________ Price_________ Title #2___________________________________________ Medium____________________________ Price_________ With my signature, I agree that submitted work is original and meets the requirements for originality and copyright laws.
