Dear Parents/Carers,

We have introduced the Year 3 Christmas Performance to the children.

If your child has a speaking part we would appreciate it if you would practice with them at home. We would like them to know when it is their turn to speak without being reminded and to speak with a loud, clear voice. This will take the place of the English homework this week.

________________________ is playing the part of ___________________.

Please can you provide a costume for your child to wear at the performance? They will need to bring their costume into school on Monday 7 th December in a carrier bag that is clearly labelled with your child’s name and class.

There is no requirement to purchase a costume especially; ordinary household items such as tea-towels and white sheets can be just as effective in creating a traditional nativity look.

The table below lists costume suggestions for some of the part.
