LAWRENCE UNIVERSITY Appleton, Wisconsin Associate Director of Alumni and Constituency Engagement—Admissions Volunteer Management Lawrence University seeks a smart, energetic, and innovative go-getter to thrive as our first professional staff member dedicated to managing the alumni and parent volunteers who raise Lawrence’s visibility through college fairs, interviews, and receptions as well as other initiatives that s/he will have a hand in developing. Reporting to the Director of Alumni and Constituency Engagement, collaborating with other ACE colleagues, and working very closely with the Director of Admissions and admissions staff (all of whom share a building on campus), the associate director will be charged with identifying, inspiring, training, and managing Lawrence alumni and parents who dedicate their time and talent to helping Lawrence recruit and enroll students who are well-matched for the Lawrence experience. The associate director will also deploy her/his talents by: recruiting and managing volunteers for a Reunion planning committee; working closely with the Lawrence University Alumni Association Board of Directors; reading applications as an admission committee member; and handling other duties as assigned (you knew that was coming), which will include being able to fold table banners with panache at college fairs that s/he will attend as part of the national travel that accompanies this position.
