Evolutee Hotel at Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort announces softopening
Evolutee Hotel, the new 5-star boutique hotel located at the Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf
Resort has announced it’s soft-opening in advance of the grand opening launch event
to be announced.
The exquisite 39 room hotel is designed by the renowned yoo Studio, the design team
at the international design and lifestyle company, yoo, founded by John Hitchcox and
acclaimed designer Philippe Starck.
The interiors feature yoo’s signature bold and inspiring common areas and sumptuous
and luxurious rooms, offering a contemporary interpretation of traditional Portuguese
design. The rooms, including two expansive suites, benefit from stunning vistas of the
Atlantic Ocean, the Royal Obidos golf course and the Lagoa de Óbidos, Portugal’s
largest lagoon.
With a design inspired by the element of water and the beauty of the natural Ocean
and Óbidos lagoon surrounds, the Elemental Spa at Evolutee Hotel offers guests a
restorative and tranquil experience. A vast menu of signature treatments and rituals
using regionally sourced organic products such as chocolate, sour cherries, wine,
pears and apples, are complemented by a Thermal Suite, relaxation room, health club,
indoor swimming pool and saunas.
The Kobe Steak & Sushi Restaurant offers a dynamic menu and excellent wines in a
refined environment with decoration inspired by traditional Portuguese ceramics.
Guests can also enjoy a relaxing cocktail at one of three bars at Evolutee Hotel: The
Lobby Bar, The Pool Bar and Kobe Bar, each offering a unique interior and ambience.
Evolutee Hotel also offers a state-of the-art Conference Centre of six fully-equipped
conference rooms with a capacity of up to 315 persons and a magnificent outdoor
swimming pool complementing the hotel facilities.
The Evolutee Hotel opening is an important milestone for the Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf
Resort, after its golf course designed by Severiano Ballesteros entered the Golf Word
magazine “Top 100 courses in Continental Europe 2014”, the most prestigious golf
course ranking, at the beginning of 2014.

About Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort
Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort, mainly owned by MSF TUR.IM, includes a touristic and residential
complex, as well as an 18-hole golf course, designed by Severiano Ballesteros. Located in Portugal´s west
region, only 45 minutes from Lisbon Airport, the Royal Óbidos 336 acres site is perfectly situated and will
feature low density construction with the 630 touristic units offering spectacular views of the Óbidos
Lagoon, the Atlantic Ocean and the golf course.

paths, restaurants, bars and shops will complement the Resort offer.
It is classified as a PIN project (Project of National Interest) by the Portuguese Agency of Investment.
