The goal is for you to demonstrate your knowledge of verbs. The only rule, is that you have 3 activities in a row: horizontally, vertically, and diagonally. Be sure to place an X over the 3 activities you choose because your Tic-TacToe board should be handed in with your activities. Create Test Questions Make 10 multiple choice questions for a Verb Test. Friendly Letter Write the greeting, body, closing and signature of a friendly letter. Underline 10 verbs in the letter. Song Lyrics Write the words to an appropriate favorite song. Underline 10 verbs in the lyrics. Sentences Write 10 original sentences that contain both helping and main verbs. Put one line under the helping verbs and two lines under the main verbs. Create a Poem Write a 10 line rhyming poem that has one verb in every line. Underline the verbs. Text Message Write a text mess 2 a friend making plans to get together. U may use text words. B sure 2 include 10 verbs that are spelled correctly, and underlined. Math Word Problem Write 2 math word problems. Be sure to use and underline 10 verbs. Be sure to include the answers too. Word Search Make a Verb Word Search. Be sure to use at least 10 verbs. Highlight the verbs in the puzzle. Verb Dictionary Make 5 verb dictionary entries. Be sure to use the verb, part of speech, an original definition, original sentence, and picture. VERB TIC TAC TOE GENERAL DIRECTIONS 1. Access Verb Tic Tac Toe directions from my Wiki Space. 2. Complete 3 assignments in ONE Google Doc titled Verb TTT. 3. Be sure to highlight all verbs in your work. Be sure NOT to repeat the same verbs. You must have 10 different verbs in your assignments. 4. For the song lyrics they may copy and paste the APPROPRIATE song to highlight the verbs. Once you have highlighted 10 verbs, you may stop. I do not need 3 pages of song lyrics with only 10 words highlighted. 5. They may also use a word search site as long as they can cut and paste the puzzle in their Google doc.
