DaVinci Roofscapes® “Shakes Up” 2014 NAHB
International Builders’ Show
KANSAS CITY, KAN. – DaVinci Roofscapes®, the color leader in the polymer roofing
industry, will showcase the company’s most popular shake and slate products lines at the 2014
NAHB International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas, February 4 - 6, 2014. Located in booth
C2136, the exhibit includes Bellaforté® Shake and Slate products, along with DaVinci MultiWidth Slate and Shake roofing tiles plus samples from the Valoré Slate and Shake as well as
Fancy Shake product lines.
Celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2014, DaVinci develops and manufactures industryleading polymer slate and shake roofing systems with an authentic look and superior
performance. All DaVinci products are made in the U.S.A. by experienced professionals
dedicated to creating reliable high-performance synthetic roofing products that add value and
prestige to residential and commercial projects.
Bellaforté Shake and Slate
One of the most popular product lines available from DaVinci Roofscapes, Bellaforté
polymer roofing tiles in shake and slate profiles play a major role in the company's booth this
year. The patented features of Bellaforté roofing tiles, which include a leading edge tab and a
self-aligning ledge, help reduce the installation time for the products. A square of Bellaforté tiles
(with 100 pieces per square) weighs just 190 pounds. This lower tile weight helps reduce
installation time and transportation costs.
All DaVinci tiles resist curling, cracking, fading, mold, algae, fungus and insects, making
them ideal for installation in a wide variety of geographic areas. Just as with other DaVinci
products, the Bellaforté tiles are 100 percent recyclable and come with a 50-year limited
warranty.

DaVinci Multi-Width Slate and Shake
DaVinci Multi-Width Slate is carefully engineered to provide the authentic look and
durability of natural slate using 100 percent virgin resins to guarantee a sustainable product.
Available in 12", 10", 9", 7" and 6" widths, bundles arrive at the job site pre-sorted by color and
size, eliminating on-site sorting and guesswork. The polymer slate is crafted to display rough
edges and natural stone-like surface textures and comes at an impressive 1/2" tile thickness.
DaVinci Multi-Width Shake displays the texture of natural cedar shake with a deepgrained surface. Available in 9", 8", 7", 6" and 4" widths along with a virtually limitless color
palette, the multi-width shake product features both wavy and straight grains throughout the
blend for an authentic appearance. Multiple widths of the 5/8" profile on the tiles help create a
more natural, non-repeating appearance that can be laid in either a straight or staggered pattern.
Each DaVinci polymer roof shingle is lightweight, impervious to freeze/thaw cycles,
impact resistant, maintenance free, color fade resistant, Class A fire rated (with specified
underlayments), UL 2218 Class 4 impact rated, and wind resistant to 110 mph. All DaVinci
polymer tiles resist water absorption, which eliminates freeze-thaw issues and allows for
installation in most weather conditions.

Valoré Single-Width Slate and Shake
Single-Width products in the Valoré Slate® and Valoré Shake® product lines embrace the
art and science of roofing to offer exceptional aesthetics and performance at a value-driven price
point. Valoré Slate is available in a 12" tile width with a 1/2" thickness and is modeled after
natural slate pieces. Valoré Shake comes in a 9" tile width with a 5/8" profile to provide deep,
attractive shadow lines.
Fancy Shake
DaVinci Fancy Shake® polymer roof tiles provide a more refined cedar look when
compared to traditional hand-split shake. With the clean, smooth look of a machine-sawn shake,
Fancy Shake is available in 12", 7" and 5" widths with a tile thickness of 7/16". Using multiple
widths helps create a more natural, non-repeating appearance that can be laid at a straight or
staggered pattern.
Colorful Expertise
National color expert Kate Smith, president of Sensational Colors, will be available in the
DaVinci booth to offer color advice to show participants on their roofing selections. Smith, who
authored the "FRESH Color Schemes for Your Home" and “FRESH Exterior Home Colors” e-
books available free from DaVinci, will discuss exterior color trends with booth visitors along
with the top roofing color trends of 2014.
