General Instructions
The Education and Training Foundation (the Foundation) is to manage responses to its
invitation to be an associate of the Foundation through the website www.etfoundation.co.uk
Applicants are to submit their responses by email to the Foundation
recruitment@etfoundation.co.uk no later than 12 noon on 12th May 2014

Applications are to be in font Arial size 12. Please also check for “Word Limits” on each
section of the Tender Response as information in excess of the “Word Limits” will not be
evaluated.

in the last three years that are relevant to the Foundation’s requirement. These could be
discrete projects for a client or pieces of work carried out for an employer.

out in para. 4 of the invitation document.

Availability
Please give an indication of your likely lead times for notice of work, availability and time
available to support the Foundation, e.g. I will need 2 weeks’ notice of work and can commit
to providing 2 – 3 days a week to the Foundation or I will be able to prioritise the Foundation
work so can be immediately available if needed etc.

Business Selection Criteria
Business selection criteria relate to the business, organisation or employer of the applicant
and are used to assess the suitability to perform the role of an associate.
N.B. Selection criteria will be based on a pass / fail basis and a fail decision would usually
result in the applicant being eliminated at this stage
Pass: Information provided as required and sufficient to indicate that there would be no
risk or an acceptable level of risk if the Foundation were to award a contract
Fail: Information not provided or demonstrates that the level of risk associated with
awarding a contract is unacceptably highGrounds for mandatory rejection: Important

In some circumstances the Foundation is required by law to exclude
organisations from participating further. If you cannot answer ‘no’ to every
question in this section it is very unlikely that your application will be accepted.

2. INSURANCE (COMPLIANCE QUESTION)
‘The applicant shall maintain at their own or employers cost a policy or policies
of insurance to cover the liability of the applicant in respect of any actual
default for which it may become liable to indemnify the Foundation under this
Agreement. Appropriate insurance should include; professional indemnity,
employers’ liability and public liability insurance.
