Project initiation

This document outlines an agreement for journal hosting services provided by the University Library.

The Library will act as ‘electronic distributor’ for the journal. The Journal Manager and Editorial staff will be responsible for management and administration of the journal, and for journal content.

Details will be completed during initial discussions and follow-up meetings.

These sections will need to be considered during setup in order to complete the relevant sections of the online system.

We can undertake basic customisation. Complex customisation will depend on resources and the options available in OJS, bearing in mind that your journal is part of a shared hosted service.

Project milestones

The following actions will be completed in order to ensure sustainability of the journal and agreed understanding of responsibilities. We will notify HoS and Academic Liaison Librarians to ensure awareness in the appropriate subject areas of the University. Project closure will only be noted In the event of a journal being discontinued.
