This 3-step plan uses a combination of prerecorded and live webinars, listed below. 1. Self-Directed Training: MAP Essentials provides district staff with foundational information to get started with WebBased MAP. Note that each training category contains an introductory tutorial focused on the transitioning process. These sessions will set the stage for your learning. We encourage your staff to view all sessions pertinent to their role in the district. It will provide an overview of the MARC Homepage, show users how to create and start a Web-Based MAP session, provide a look at both the student’s and proctor’s experience during a Web-Based MAP session, and review the ways to end a Web-Based MAP test. This webinar is suggested for first time proctors and proctors who wish to review best practices prior to the test season. Proctor Training Advanced – Web-Based MAP This webinar provides tips for proctoring and troubleshooting some issues that may occur in a web-based assessment. The webinar incorporates best practices of our technical consultants and over 100 partner interactions. This webinar is suggested for proctors who have completed the first Web-Based MAP Proctoring webinar or who have been successfully proctoring for several test seasons. MAP Readiness for Testing Is your school or district ready for successful testing with Web-Based MAP? This webinar will provide a readiness checklist for effectively implementing Web-Based MAP into the classroom. This webinar is for the System Administrator, Data Administrator and Proctors. 3. Live Webinars Once you have received access credentials to your Web-Based MAP system, register for a GoLive Webinar. During this live session, NWEA staff will guide you through initial setup tasks in Web-Based MAP, and assure you are prepared to take next steps towards a successful testing season.
