2012 KCCS Pre-conference Workshop -The facial fat transfer and liposuction
Greetings all colleagues!
KCCS will hold a hands-on course on the method and use of fat transfer, liposuction and additional lifting as
an optimal method for facial soft tissue facial contouring. In addition, you can take the whole courses
from basic fat transfer to SAFI, advanced facial fat transfer technique, which can perform face lifting only
with fat transfer. This workshop is for celebrating The Conference for the 5th Anniversary of the KCCS(on
Sunday 13th May 2012 at BEXCO, Busan) and will give a great opportunity to have the latest information
on facial lipoplasty like applying adipose derived stem cells (ADSC) or PRP to fat transfer.

Hello colleagues
KCCS was established 5 years ago named as Yeong-Nam Aesthetic Forum in Busan.
It started off as a small medical society. CAF (Corea Aesthetic Forum) has passionately conducted and developed
in national cosmetic medical field and also internationally.
Commencing 2012, CAF has changed the name to Korea College of Cosmetic Surgery (KCCS).
In celebration of our 5th Anniversary, KCCS will hold the International Conference in Busan, where it all began,
sponsored and co-hosted by ASACS (Asian Society of Asian Cosmetic Surgery).
Distinguished honored Members and doctors of KCCS&ASACS.
You may well feel that cosmetic medical fields has never been so difficult because of the recent economic crisis
causing extreme division of practices.
Nevertheless KCCS recognized that “To improve the medical technique and to protect the patient” is the by far
the most important aspect.
Therefore we will especially discuss the subject about
“Complications& Prevention Side Effect and
Reconstruction” at the upcoming International conference on 13th May, 2012.
Various complaints and complications of patients who underwent cosmetic surgery during the previous winter
often arised in the month of April and May. So It’s time to decide and focus the reconstruction for this period.
For this reason, KCCS is convinced that upcoming International Conference will be a fantastic chance to acquire
the knowledge on how to resolve problems which occurs during cosmetic surgery.
KCCS is eagerly looking forward to your participation.
We would like to express our special appreciation to ex and current President of KCCS, Directors and board
members who have contributed to the growth of KCCS.
KCCS expects that whole Member’s Clinic will prosper by conducting practical workshops -Cosmetic Aesthetic

Welcome from the ASACS President
It seems like the day before yesterday, when KCCS was having its very first meeting
in preparation of the 1st establishment conference, organizing agreement of the board of
members ; however in fact 5 years has gone past.
My observation of KCCS over the last 5 years by colleague involvement and feedback from many of the other
organizations out there, that KCCS has been made with great development structure and established itself in the
field of cosmetic surgery, not only in Korea but also with international recognition, especially as leaders in
cadaver dissection training preparation, for doctors to study the basis of anatomy.
I am a director of ASACS and using this opportunity to convey my sincere gratitude to co-host - 5th International
conference together with KCCS.
So far, KCCS & ASACS have established a strong partnership including successfully co-hosting the conference in
Zheng Zhou, China.
This year, I’m pleased to announce the International Rhinoplasty workshop will be held in
Nan Jing China, in November of 2012. Following on from this, will lead into our continued strong partnerships at
the conference in Bangalore India next year.
I must express my sincere thanks and respect to Dr Kang, KCCS President and to the other board members for
their enthusiastic efforts.
I hope many people will be able to attend the next meeting, to share their knowledge and to make this
conference a great success & rewarding experience for all.
