WRITING AN OUTLINE
Your outline should reflect the major points you will make in your paper. In a paper of literary analysis,
the outline reflects the content of your supporting paragraphs. You will be following Harvard outline format,
which means you will use the following symbols (I, A, 1., a., i.) and adhere to parallel form (same part of speech).

In a parallel outline you may NOT use complete sentences. You MUST double space and have at least two in every
category (for example: you cannot have an I without also having a II, an A without a B, or a 1 without a 2).
