COURSE: 25 yards, 6 lanes
Rules: All female swimmers representing Continental League schools are eligible to
compete. Any swimmer who competes in the “B” meet (individual or relay) may not
participate in the “A” meet in the same event, except as a member of a relay team,
UNLESS that swimmer qualifies for “A” Championships at the “B” or “C” Championship
Meet. In the event of “A” Championship Meet qual times achieved in individual events at
the “B” or “C” Championships, that swimmer will be permitted to enter the “A”
Championships in the event(s) she qualified.
All participants are limited to two individual events and two relay events OR one
individual and three relays. Each team may have unlimited entries in individual events,
but only three entries per relay event. The diving event counts as one individual entry in
the “B” Championship Meet. Swimmers who qualify for “B” Championships, at the “C”
Championships may not enter the “B” Championships. The “B” and “C” championships
count as one of the 11 regular season meets, not the 12th meet.

Swimming warm-up: 8:30 AM
Coaches meeting: 9:30 PM
Swimming Starts: 10:00 AM
10 min break following the 50 Free
FORMAT: This is a timed final meet. No team scores will be kept.
Flyover starts will be used to help expedite the meet, please inform your swimmers.
AWARDS: Ribbons for individuals first through sixth place and ribbons for relays first
through sixth place. In relay events, only two relay teams from any one school are
eligible for awards. Swimmers qualifying for “A” time standards will receive certificates
and will not be ranked in the final standings or eligible for ribbons. Awards will be placed
in team envelopes to be handed out by coaches upon the completion of the meet.
ENTRIES: Complete the HYTEK file that has been sent. If electronic entries cannot be
completed, they may be emailed in word or excel form. Electronic entries are strongly,
very strongly encouraged. Coaches, you are responsible for the integrity of your entries.
If entries are faxed, please write legibly. Again, electronic Hytek entries are preferred,
and they can be e-mailed to: hphebert@dcsdk12.org
QUALIFYING TIMES:
The “B” meet does follow cutoff standards. Any swimmer faster than those standards is
not eligible to swim that event at the “B” meet. Any swimmer slower than the published
time standards must enter in the “C” meet. Coaches, please check your entries to
ensure that you follow this guideline.

WARM-UP: Warm-up times will be assigned, in 25 minute slots, to each team. Lane
assignments will be based on team size. Schools closer to Heritage will be assigned
earlier warm-up times. Specific warm-up times will be sent out with the psych and heat
sheets.
ADMISSION: $3.00 students with ID
$5.00 Adults
ENTRY DEADLINE: The entry deadline is 12:00 PM, Wednesday January 23, 2012.
The B and C meet should be treated as separate meets for entry purposes as
indicated by separate entry zip files.
