7.
Compound Name: monosodium glutamate
Molecular Formula: NaC5H8NO4
Organic
Toxicity (2): Monosodium glutamate is more commonly known as MSG. It has been used as a food additive to enhance flavor for over one hundred years. The FDA has classified monosodium glutamate as “GRAS” (Generally Recognized as Safe). There have been many studies done to determine if there is toxicity at the normal usage. To date, there is no data to support the anecdotal stories of MSG toxicity.

Ibuprofen “Kirkland Brand” (Medicinal)
Active Ingredients: ibuprofen
Inactive Ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, stearic acid, titanium dioxide
21.
Compound Name: ibuprofen
Molecular Formula: C13H18O2
Organic
Toxicity (5): ibuprofen is considered a very safe anti-inflammatory and analgesic medication at doses up to 3200 mg daily. Rates of ALT (enzyme released by the liver) rarely exceed 100 U/L with the normal range being 10-40 U/L. Overdose can cause agitation followed by stupor, coma, respiratory depression and lactic acidosis which can cause death. Most cases of ibuprofen overdose do not show damage to the liver.
