We are expanding our clinic-based services and are seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide individual and family therapy and psychological testing services. The ideal applicant will have experience working with children with autism and in providing testing for autism spectrum disorders and ADHD. Candidates with experience providing therapy using behavioral, cognitive-behavioral and solutionfocused approaches with children with diagnosis such as ASD, ODD, ADHD, and anxiety will be strongly considered. Minnesota State licensure is required. Essential Functions: Provide individual and family therapy seeing children experiencing challenges such as ODD, OCD, ADHD, ASD, anxiety, depression, aggression and other challenging behaviors Conduct psychological assessments. Most assessments are related to making an autism diagnosis, conducting an autism re-evaluation or testing for ADHD Facilitate weekly social skills groups for children and adolescents Facilitate monthly parent support group for parents with children with autism Complete all paperwork and documentation of services. Abide by all BTS of MN policies and procedures Abide by all Minnesota and federal rules and regulations guiding BTS of MN services, including, but not limited to: a. Minnesota Statute 256B.0943 Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports b. Minnesota Statute 148B.71 Mental Health Client Bill of Rights c. Minnesota Statute 245.8261 Restrictive Procedures d. HIPAA (Health Information Privacy and Accountability Act) e. Ethical Principles and Codes of Conduct of the American Psychological Association (Chapters 3. Human Relations, 4. Privacy and Confidentiality and 10.Therapy.) Complete additional duties as assigned by the Program or Clinical Directors. Duties may include participation in conducting research studies, maintaining testing supplies, supervision of MHP’s or unlicensed clinician’s, and other tasks as necessary or by interest. Ability to work in cooperation with Directors, schools and other service providers as an integral part of the treatment team. Speak, write, read and/or communicate fluently in the English language. Ability to maintain confidentiality pertaining to target child, family, therapists, staff and any other protected health information (PHI). Willingness to work some early evening hours Qualifications must include: Must provide documentation that individual has completed requirements towards a Doctoral degree and has current Minnesota Licensure with the Board of Psychology. All applicants must pass state and federal background checks as required by the State of Minnesota in order to work with children (Minnesota Statute 148.A).
