16 WEEKS OLD
Your puppy will need a weight check every month until fully grown so that the Sentinel tablet is
the proper dose according to your dog’s weight. Flea/Tick prevention is also based on weight
and when your puppy reaches its adult weight there will be different preventatives available.
The kennel cough (Bordetella Vaccine) should be given if your dog will be boarded, attend
training classes, or will be going to the groomer. This can be given any time. Feel free to
discuss it with your veterinarian.
Spay/Neuter should be done between 5-7 months old.
Please schedule the surgery at your
earliest convenience.
 Home Again Microchip at spay/neuter surgery (if your dog is lost or stolen
he/she can be identified and return to you)
 4DX Test (blood test that looks for heartworm disease and tick borne
diseases such as Lyme Disease. (next test is due in 1 year)
