Then a booster shot is given at 12 and 16 weeks. This vaccine is then given every 3 years Leptospirosis A bacterial disease that is spread by the urine of wildlife (ie: skunks, raccoons, and squirrels). It affects dogs and humans It is recommended to start this vaccine at 6 months of age. Then a booster shot is given 3-4 weeks later. This vaccine is then given every year Rabies It is recommended to start this vaccine at 12 or 16 weeks of age. Then a booster shot is given 1 year later This vaccine is then given every 3 years Kennel Cough A bacterial upper respiratory infection This vaccine is recommended for dogs that will be around other dogs (ie: boarding, grooming, classes, and daycare) This vaccine can be started at 8 weeks of age This vaccine is then given every year, or as needed Proheart Injection For the prevention of heartworms This vaccine can be given at 6 months of age (after a negative heartworm test is performed) This injection is then given every 6 months Heartworm/Lyme/Erlichia/Anaplasmosis (4DX) A blood test that test for heartworm disease and 3 tick-borne diseases Lyme A serious tick-borne disease that can affect the joints and kidneys of dogs It is recommended to start this vaccine at 6 months of age. Then a booster shot is given 2-3 weeks later This vaccine is then given every year This test can be administered at 6 months of age It is recommended to retest annually
