Are you in Financial Difficulty?
Money management and budgeting advice are available from Student Funding
and Welfare located in on 2nd Floor of the Library. There are also discretionary
funds that may be available to home students experiencing financial
difficulties (i.e. those who meet to residency conditions of a UK student)
however you are expected to explore other avenues of financial help before
applying to the Financial Contingency Fund.
 The Financial Contingency Fund may assist in alleviating unexpected financial
hardship.
 Financial help may be available to assist home students meet extra costs which are
not already being met by existing sources of funding.
 It is at the discretion of the institute to decide if you should receive an award, there is
no automatic entitlement from the Financial Contingency Fund.
 Applicants to the fund will receive budgeting advice.
