Bangladesh Disaster Assessment: Initial weeks (phase 2)
Upazila Meeting Format
The following template is for use during the meeting with Upazila officials at the conclusion of the assessment. The aim is to have one meeting in each
affected upazila. Make sure as many as possible of government officials are present in the validation meeting (UNO, PIO, other government official at
Upazila level, Chairmen etc) but also be aware that these officials have many responsibilities at the time of a disaster.
The form should be completed (as much as possible) prior to the meeting, summarizing the findings of the field teams so this information can be shared and
validated by the Upazilla officials. Be prepared to leave a copy of the information.
