Bar Chart – Weather Windy, sunny, rainy, cloudy, what’s it like today song.

Add colour to the relevant part of the chart.

Which weather have we had the most/least? How many (sunny) days have we had?

Cup next to bar chart with different colour square cards which get added to the chart.

Place value – Number of Maths Meetings – Today is a new maths meeting – what do we need to do with our straws? And what do I need to change the number to?

So how many days of maths meeting have we had altogether?

3 Cups – left with straws and numbers – middle for tens and right for units. Straws in the cups and numbers below.

Finish the pattern – Finish the pattern clap clap clap song. Reading altogether – e.g. 2, 3, 4, 5

What number comes next? 1 more. What were we doing, were we increasing or decreasing? Show me (fingers up for increasing and down for decreasing). How do you know?

Use number lines to jump. “We were increasing by one”.
