DIFFA’s 4th Annual Picnic by Design August 5, 2015 at Ramscale Studios New York, NY (June 2015) DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) Picnic by Design is serving up several new treats for its four-year anniversary. The fundraising event, which celebrates great design and engages emerging and young designers to support DIFFA’s work in the fight against HIV/AIDS, will now take place at Ramscale Studios on Wednesday, August 5th from 6:00-9:00PM. The landmark building, located in the West Village and Highline district, has indoor and outdoor space with awe-inspiring views of Manhattan, the Hudson River and the New York Harbor. Guests will be able to sample gourmet picnic fare from fabulous restaurants at tables stationed throughout the venue, enjoy a delicious selection of cocktails and wine, and have the opportunity to bid on show-stopping picnic baskets conceived by top designers-all for a good cause. Notable judges in the design and culinary industry will vote for their favorite creations, which will be highlighted on Interior Design magazine’s website. Taking Picnic by Design to another level, DIFFA is launching an exciting social media campaign around the event, encouraging people across the country and globe to host their own picnics to raise awareness.
