Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration, with focus on
Tribal Management and Economic Development
The Bachelors of Arts degree is a unique degree program designed to prepare students to take responsible
positions in the management of economic growth in the more than 500 federally recognized Native American
Tribes. The program will include instructions in business management, principles of accounting and financial
management, human resources management, finance, basic economic principles and business law (Federal,
State and Tribal) as applied to promoting the economic well-being of the tribal communities.

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS




Associate of Arts degree in Business (and CIS) as Junior (Year 3)
Other majors will be accepted as Sophomore (Year 2) High School Diploma for
admission as Freshman (year 1)
Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Unofficial transcripts.

Completed DC Application ($20 fee)
Completed BA Business Application.
Cover letter, provide a self-profile covering
a. How do you meet and exceed the minimum admission requirements
b. Why do you want to get into the program
c. How will this program help your career goals
Unofficial transcripts (or copies) of all college coursework.
STEP 2
Upon acceptance into the program:



Submit ALL official Transcripts to the Admissions Office
Submit completed applications for Financial Aid (FAFSA, tribal, etc). For assistance,
contact Financial Aid at 928.724.6738.
Submit a completed application for housing (if planning to live on-campus). For
assistance in completing this item, contact Residence Life at 928.724.6782
