PLEDGE OF RESPONSIBILITY
I, ________________________, realize that my duties and responsibilities as a candidate for the Royal Court include the
following:
1. I must maintain a weighted GPA of 2.0.
2. I must at all times set a good example as an East Wake High School representative. I understand there that my
discipline record and grade(s) could prevent me from being eligible.
3. I will cooperate fully with the Student Government Association, the sponsor and East Wake High School
Administration.
4. I will abide by ALL the rules and regulations outlined in the student Code of Conduct.
5. I will always remember that participation is an honor. I understand that if I am determined to be in violation of
any discipline infraction, I will be removed from Royal Court, NO EXCEPTIONS.
6. I will attend all required meetings and events as a member of Royal Court. Failure to attend the Royal Court
meeting, practice or photo session will result in my removal.
7. I understand this is not a political campaign and that I shall not campaign.
8. I do not hold an SGA or Class office.
9. I will represent East Wake High School and myself to the best of my ability.
If, for any reason, I cannot or do not fulfill any or all of these responsibilities, I understand that I will be eliminated from
participation. I understand that I am a representative of the East Wake High School and any inappropriate behavior or
breaking of the code of conduct may result in my removal from the Royal Court.
I have read and understand the above requirements, and I understand that failure to follow these requirements may
result in my removal from the Royal court.

PARENT/GUARDIAN CONSENT:

the activity of Homecoming Court. I have read and understand the requirements and criteria necessary to be chosen as a
representative of East Wake High School and will support the decision of the administration in selecting eligible
candidates. I also understand all the responsibilities and commitment involved in being a member of the court if he/she is
selected.
