FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE QuickMobile Donates Furniture and HDTV from AIBTM 2012 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore VANCOUVER, British Columbia – June 26, 2012 – In a recent blog post, QuickMobile President and CEO Patrick Payne wrote about the process his company went through to revamp the company’s online presence. After an extensive search of “lots and lots of photos of people with mobile devices,” he found a photo of a “young boy, all alone, trying to fly a paper airplane.” The image, and others now featured on the company’s new website, illustrate the youthful curiosity, ingenuity, optimism and enthusiasm that capture the spirit of the company. Following AIBTM 2012 at the Baltimore Convention Center June 19-21, QuickMobile once again focused on kids, donating more than $1,000 worth of furniture and electronics to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore. The items donated included a counter-high table and three stools, and a 42-inch flat panel HDTV. “We have received an incredible response from visitors to our website, much of it due to the images that capture child-like qualities of enthusiasm, excitement and fun,” said Nicole Steele, Director of Marketing for QuickMobile. “We thought we could contribute some of those same emotions to the kids at the Boys & Girls Club by donating the equipment we purchased for our exhibit and meeting space. Prior to AIBTM, we arranged for the furniture and electronics to go to a group that does so much good for kids. We appreciate the opportunity to work with the Boys & Girls Club and hope the kids enjoy the donation.” “The Boys & Girls Club of Metropolitan Baltimore is a safe place for children to learn and grow, and our programs and facility truly benefit from corporate partnerships and contributions like those donated by QuickMobile,” said Kenneth Darden, president and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore. “We appreciate QuickMobile’s generosity, and we know the furniture and electronics will be valued by everyone that is associated with our organizations.” About QuickMobile QuickMobile works with meeting owners and organizers to develop fully branded mobile meeting apps that serve as catalysts for yearlong conversations with constituents.
