


Designed and administered experiments testing the dynamics of
experimental rocketry hardware, including strand burner motor testing
Acquired and analyzed thrust and pressure data of four solid rocket motor
static fire experiments, used this data to simulate the first student designed
rocket to reach outer space, and included these simulations in the 110+ page
FAA paperwork required to approve the vehicle’s launch.
Designed a 3D solid rocket motor GUI simulation suite with erosive burn and
ignition modeling, which will be used in conjunction with a genetic algorithm
to design and test novel rocket motor geometries.
Project Manager and Research Lead, Helioseismology Group, USC


Designed the data reduction pipeline of a NASA-funded astrophysics
research group, working closely with faculty at NASA, Stanford, USC, and
Technical University Munich. Created a training program used to train six
undergraduates in reducing NASA Solar Dynamics Observatory data, and
organized these undergraduates to process over 20 terabytes of data.
Discovered two previously unknown shifts in solar pressure oscillations,
providing strong and unexpected constraints to solar models. Presented
these results to representatives of the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the
National Solar Observatory, and USC.
