This is a three weekend course path designed to prepare the level one and two residential adjuster
to produce a competent and appropriate work product. It is designed to be taken over 6 weeks on
every other weekend.

Mastering the math skills necessary to accurately scope and quantify
covered peril damage and applying math to structures

Understanding the difference between estimating and investigation –
making sure that all the appropriate claim information is acquired and
properly assessed

This module defines and identifies when water intrusion is a covered
cause of loss and how it applies to the various lines of coverage in a
typical residential insuring agreement

The student will gain understanding how wind and hail impacts
residential asphalt roofing. The student will leave this module with the
ability to discriminate between covered damage, manufacture defect,
improper installation, age and deterioration and genuine covered peril
damage

Wind and hail damage more than roofing. A thorough investigation
includes a detailed inspection of all exterior surfaces and components of
residential structures the adjuster must understand what to look for,
how to quantify as well as appraise this damage

systems and how wind and hail impact them

Damage as a result of water damage is the number one cause of loss
after roofing. This module teaches the circumstances and condition
necessary for damage resulting from water to be considered covered
damage

According to industry experts the number one cost of loss in residential
claims is water mitigation. On completion the student will have a basic
understanding of structural drying and the forces that impact its success
or failure. This is a MUST HAVE tool in every adjuster’s tool box
Carpet is no longer just wool, polyester or nylon. Carpet construction is
also critical in understanding how these losses should be handled and
the adjuster needs to be prepared to ask the right questions in order to
get the right answers

Wood or wood appearing products are experiencing huge popularity
and the adjuster needs to be able to differentiate between them,
whether or not they can be repaired and who to appropriate price
damage or replacement. This module will give the adjuster tools and
knowledge in how to navigate between them
